Tech Line’s GHS transition is now complete and all hazardous products and samples will be shipped with the new GHS labels. Safety Data Sheets in the new GHS format are also available upon request as well as available on our web site.
GHS, the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals, provides a single international system that can be used to identify and communicate hazards while transporting and supplying chemicals across the world. None of the products in Tech Line’s portfolio have changed; rather a new, universal classification system has been implemented. Under this new system Tech Line has changed its container labels, transport labels and safety data sheets. The new labels and SDS’s have new hazard pictograms, new signal words such as ‘warning’ and ‘danger’ and new phrases for hazards.
