Carrera Coat Coatings

Designed as an air curing coating with variations that handle multiple applications, including thermal barriers and thermal dispersants. Carrera coatings will cure over a period of 24 hours and will continue to harden over seven days.  Please see data sheets for more information. Carrera Exhaust Coatings

Primarily designed as an exhaust coating. It has a good adhesion to virtually all metals and some plastics. It can be used on any part in the exhaust system. Designed for single coat coverage.

 

  •  Appearance: Black. Other colors including red, blue, silver, and orange available upon request.
  • Thermal Barrier that can withstand over 1800F substrate temperature and up to 2000F environmental temperature.
  • Corrosion and chemical resistant
  • Very low V.O.C.
  • Curing: 24 hours with maximum hardness achieved after seven days.

Carrera Thermal Dispersant

Carrera TD accelerates the flow of heat from the substrate to which it is applied. 

  • Appearance: Black
  • Thermal dispersant used to accelerate the removal of heat. It can withstand substrate temperatures of over 1500F.
  • Chemical  and UV resistant
  • Very low V.O.C.
  • Curing: 24 hours with maximum hardness achieved after seven days.

 

Carrera LTC

Carrera LTC is a clear ceramic coating that can be dyed with our Brilliance colors to create a nearly limitless variety of colors. It also has protective properties.

  • Appearance: Clear but can be mixed with our Brilliance colors to create a nearly limitless variety of colors.
  • Thermal Barrier that can withstand substrate temperatures of over 500F.
  • Corrosion and chemical resistant.
  • UV resistant.
  • Very low V.O.C.
  • Curing: 24 hours with maximum hardness achieved after seven days.

 

Carrera LTMC

Carrera LTMC is a clear ceramic coating designed to reduce friction on boat hulls while reducing biological growth. It may be applied over bare metal, plastic, fiberglass, or painted surfaces.

  • Appearance: Clear
  • Capable of reducing drag, improving the boat’s performance
  • Proprietary anti-fungal/anti-marine growth inhibitors help keep treated surfaces clean.
  • Excellent chemical and UV resistance.
  • Very low V.O.C.
  • Curing: 24 hours with maximum hardness achieved after seven days.

Carrera CFC

Carrera Clear for Chrome is designed to be applied to the exterior of a chrome exhaust component to prevent it from turning blue up to substrate temperatures of 1100F.

  • A thermal barrier, such as MCS can be applied to the inside of the chrome part to further reduce temperature.
  • This product requires Primer for Chrome (sold separately) on the part and then a top coat of the Clear for Chrome.
  • Curing: 24 hours.
