POLYPHEN™ COATING SYSTEM

The PolyPhen™ family of Coatings include many that have excellent corrosion resistance. The Coatings are thermally cured. PolyPhen™ makes use of a unique binding system, to retain high temperature stability while reducing thermal transfer. The cured material is capable of providing increased thermal resistance while also providing a very slick surface with excellent Corrosion and Chemical resistance and has excellent resistance to acids.  PolyPhen™ has excellent resistance to lead free solder and will protect solder pots and pumps against damage. The slick/Non Stick surface finish also works well on molds for release. The film thickness as applied ranges from .0005″ to .003″ and is not sensitive to the manner in which it is applied. PolyPhen™ can aid in the more even distribution of heat as well as allow for more efficient operation of the protected part. Part life increase is also a benefit as well as increased corrosion resistance. PolyPhen™ may be applied in multiple coats to achieve maximum thickness. Apply a single coat at a time, with a “flash” at 200f for 10 minutes between coats. Allow to cool to ambient before applying the next layer of material. All PolyPhen™ coatings may be treated with an activator that reduces the cure temperature to 200F.

FLO923™:

FL0923is a thermally cured release coat and anti stick Coating with good Corrosion resistance. FL0923™ makes use of a unique binding system, to retain high temperature stability while reducing stiction. The film thickness as applied ranges from .0005″ to .003″ and is not sensitive to the manner in which it is applied. FL0923™ achieves full cure at 149C/300F, after 1 hour at temperature. When cured, FL0923™ is not affected by most chemicals.   FL0923™ can aid in the more even distribution of heat as well as allow for quick release of molded parts with excellent reproduction. Part life increase is also a benefit as well as increased corrosion resistance. FL0923™ is also an excellent bolt coating for use in highly acidic conditions.

TLHB™:

TLHB is a thermally cured thermal barrier Coating, which achieves full cure at 149C/300F 300F, after 1 hour at temperature, with excellent Corrosion and Chemical resistance. TLHB makes use of a unique binding system, to retain high temperature stability while reducing thermal transfer. The cured material is capable of providing increased thermal resistance while also providing a very slick surface. Excellent for molds as well as the inside of heating units/pipes etc., to reduce the surface temperature and radiated heat. Excellent for bolts, molds, flanges subject to wear and bearing surfaces. May also be used on exhaust ports to reduce heat transfer to the head and increase the flow of the air/exhaust which reduces the power needed to drive the air flow.

TLHC™:

TLHC™ is a version of TLHB™ that incorporates ceramic fillers, increasing the impact and wear resistance. TLHC™ makes use of a unique binding system, to retain high temperature stability while reducing thermal transfer. The cured material is capable of providing increased thermal resistance while also providing a very slick wear resistant surface. Recommended where abrasive action is of concern.

Custom formulations are available.
