    DiamonDyze™ Salt Spray Testing

Testing of DiamonDyze on aluminum plates reveals significant potential to increase the corrosion protection of the protected part compared to standard colored anodizing. A DiamonDyze Yellow test plate has been in salt spray testing since December 2009. No change in appearance has been noted. Both Blue and Red plates have been in test since January 2010 and they show no change.

Chemical resistance also appears to be significantly better than with standard colored anodizing. To strip anodizing it is normal to use an alkaline solution. In testing it has taken over 3 times longer to strip DiamonDyze than standard colored anodizing.

Anealon

Anealon is now being released to the market. This is a coating that has the ability to form a self lubricating ceramic film under extreme heat and pressure. Anealon is available in various forms, the primary one being a coating. While this process was initially released in the mid 1990’s by Tech Line, it was used only in very unique applications. Now it is available to the market under License. The coating can take various forms including a version that is non hazardous and contains FDA acceptable ingredients. How well does it work? Consider the following test results.

A 350 cu in Chevy Cam shaft was coated for us in a vehicle competing in NHRA sanctioned Drag Racing, in a Stock Eliminator class. The cam was coated with Anealon. The used lifters were re-installed in any available lifter bore. The springs installed were heavier (about twice the normal spring pressure). The break in oil was a zero weight synthetic. No oil additives were used. The engine was fired up and allowed to idle. The valves were set cold and at idle. Normally this Cam would have failed within a few minutes of startup. The reality is that it experienced over 100 runs in competition. It never required valve adjustment and showed virtually no wear. NO other coating can duplicate this level of protection. All the work was handled by a Tech Line Applicator, M.A.C.H. in Phoenix, AZ.
