Welcome to Techlines...May 2008 Additive
for Cermakrome. During very hot and/or dry weather, Cermakrome can
dry extremely fast. Even with the use of the low humidity blend and or the
addition of additional water, to slow the drying of the coating, it can
still dry too quickly. Adding water beyond a certain volume can make the
coating too runny. This is a particular problem in the Southwest where
extremely low humidity coupled with high temperatures create a drying
problem. We now have available an additive to slow the
coating’s drying rate that does not significantly thin the coating. This
allows a large part to be completely coated with the coating staying “wet”
long enough for a proper film to form, assuring the best polished
appearance. Reasonably priced and since only a small amount is needed to
thin the coating, it is very economical. Coatings
Market The market for coatings remains extremely strong.
While we see some slowing in the Automotive Aftermarket our sales are
still well ahead of last year. This is a good indication of the health of
the Industry. In addition Industrial accounts are becoming a major source
of business. We encourage all applicators to evaluate their local area for
Industrial and Commercial business accounts. We have several coating
systems that are available for applications that are not sold to the
Automotive market and do not appear on our existing web site. Call with
any application that you may have. Do you
need; Corrosion
Resistance, Chemical Resistance, Abrasion Resistance, Extreme Temperature
Resistance, Thermal Management, Thermal Dispersants, Lubrication, Release,

Treatment... Fuel
Surcharge Like everyone we are seeing higher shipping
charges and have determined that we must implement a fuel surcharge and
will include it in our shipping charges. The current charge is $5.00 for
all orders over $50.00. The increase will only apply to orders over
$100.00 and the charge will now be $7.50 per box. Orders under $50.00 will
pay no additional fee, per our current policy, and orders between $50.00
and $100.00 will continue to pay the old fee of
$5.00. When fuel prices moderate and we see a decline in
the surcharges we pay, we will adjust our charge
accordingly. This will not change our freight paid policy on
all orders over $1000.00 net. Freight will continue to be paid by Tech
Line on such orders when shipped by ground within the 48 contiguous
States. If you
