A recent test was conducted by a major OEM manufacturer. Every major manufacturer of Metallic Ceramic Coatings submitted product for testing. Tech Line’s Cermakrome met or exceeded every requirement. No other coating matched Cermakrome. In addition Cermakrome met the standards at ½ the normal recommended film thickness. Cermakrome has also been tested to ASTM B117 salt spray standards and showed NO significant deterioration after 6524 hours. NO other coating has reached this level. NO OTHER coating can equal Cermakrome. For the record Cermakrome can handle more temperature than is listed on the web site. We have actually had consistent bond when the exterior skin (surface of the coating) temp was 1600F. This placed the base metal temp in excess of 2000F and the EGT above that. Damage to the metal filler occurred, but no delamination of the coating occurred.

Joe has been using Tech Line Coatings for years. At his school where he teaches High Performance Cylinder Head Porting and Engine Building, he includes instruction in the use and application of our coatings. Joe just told us he Dyno’d an engine and saw some very good numbers. While H.P. figures were not revealed, he did indicate a significant change in the tune up was possible. The small block Chevy running 10.2:1 compression and stock heads, as modified by Joe, normally made max H.P. and Torque with 38 to 40 degrees of advance. After coating the combustion chambers were so much more effective that the timing was set back to 30 degrees where it still made the maximum H.P. and Torque.
