CilGen SS

CilGen Stainless Steel will be available February 1, 2006. CilGenSS is an air curing ceramic coating that can be buffed/polished to a Stainless Steel appearance. Good thermal barrier characteristics and corrosion resistance. CilGenSS will be available in 6 oz. bottles for retail sales. CilGen SS will polish with traditional metal polishing compounds.

APPLYING WSX

The key to applying WSX is the method. Both speed and friction determine how effectively the material bonds to the part. The greater the speed and the pressure of application, the greater the bond. On many parts it is possible to buff the material on by hand using a cloth. However for best results use a power tool of some nature. A buffing wheel, Dremel tool or even a hone can be used. In all cases a cloth pad is to be utilized. To help apply the powder to the pad add a little alcohol and make a paste. Apply the paste to the pad and allow it to dry. This will let you impregnate the powder into the cloth rather than just dust it on the surface.

PRICE INCREASE

Due to continually rising costs of raw materials Tech Line will be implementing a small price increase. The maximum increase will be no more than $2.00 per quart or $5.00 per gallon. The prices will be effective 2/1/06 . We have been able to minimize the increase through savings achieved due to the steady increase in sales volume, which allows blending larger quantities at a more efficient level.
