Cummins Diesel

Steve Knott, our Agent in Australia, has advised us of the following. Tech Line Coatings in Australia just won a contract with Cummins for the coating of exhaust parts. This was a competitive bid. Our coating was chosen as superior for this application over two of our well known competitors. The coating chosen was Cermakrome.

Mike wanted to pass on his good results with our CBX. On nitrous, 3cyl snowmobile motors, normally they would get a maximum of 4 runs before they had to replace at least one piston. They are now lasting at least 30 runs.

One quad (Yamaha banshee), built and raced by A & S Racing Engines ( Dan Hull) out of Mason, Mi, has over 330 dyno pulls and several races on the pistons and the pistons still show no evidence of needing to be replaced.

MARINE APPLICATIONS

Tech Line is introducing a series of coatings for the Marine Industry based on our CilGen line of coatings. Testing is showing excellent corrosion resistance, reduced hull friction with the potential for fuel savings, reduced cavitation on props, anti fouling properties.
