Truly Strange Application
From Doug at
Process Coatings, MI.
Doug has advised us that CermaLube has passed a rather unique test.
A manufacturer of Home heating furnaces that burn corn for fuel, had
a problem. Corn when burned is sticky and this made it difficult to
clean the burn pot. Doug applied Cermalube and the problem was solved.
Now Doug gets to coat lots of corn burning heater burn pots!
In addition the CermaLube is surviving in this 2700f environment.
Obviously CermaLube can be used in some extremely high temperature
applications.
Bonneville Records
From Bruce at
Micro Coat, CA
Bruce advises us that 7 new speed records have been set by cars he
coated components for, using Tech Line Products.
El Mirage
From Don at
Caps Brite Hot Coatings, CA
The driver of a motorcycle competing at El Mirage was told by other
teams that their experience with metallic ceramic coatings was that
they would "dull and fall off". This was what they had seen
when using products applied by three of the "other" coating
companies. What happened when the motorcycle with Cermakrome as applied
by Don at Caps was run? No dulling of the coating, it did not fall
off and the bike went over 7 MPH faster.
CermaLube / CBX and TOP FUEL
From Bruce at
Micro Coat, CA
Bruce indicates that he has been coating pistons for 3 top fuel teams.
One is a major nostalgia team and the other 2 are top teams on the
NHRA tour. CermaLube and CBX were used and are working extremely well.
Bruce was told that they inspect the parts regularly and after 50
runs, they still show virtually no galling and have excellent wear
patterns. The nostalgia team has been inspecting every 10 passes and
sees the same improvement.
Black Satin Works World Wide
From Richard in Singapore
Initially I did not believe that after coating the exhaust manifold
that the coating would work at all. I decided to give it a try. I
took a bottle of Black Satin for my manifolds and a bottle of Aluminum
(Colorgard) for my turbo. MY GOSH!! Your product really works. Now
my Supra and my other 911 GT4 feels much responsive and smoother during
driving and acceleration. Richard confirmed that the coatings actually
were doing something by having a friend do before and after heat checks
using a laser thermometer.
Car Craft Magazine
IIn the October 2001 issue Car Craft ran a press release for Powermaster.
This is located in the Speed Shop section on page 108. The press
release refers to their new Low-mount miniature alternator. In the
text it tells how the "thermal dispersant" (While the release
does not identify the coating by name this is our TLTD) coating drops
the operating temperature up to 50 degrees. This information is in
our catalog, but this gives you a current magazine to refer to when
speaking with a customer about the benefits of our TLTD.
